The Block of The Month is a program designed and run this year by
Marilyn Ferkinhoff to get members to participate and create quilts.
Each Quilters By The Sea member receives a packet of nine patterns
with template and rotary cutting directions. Members are asked to
make the six inch Block of the Month in specified colors to donate to a
drawing. The winner is expected to make a quilt from the squares.
Members are encouraged to make a square for themselves and make
their own miniature quilt during the year. The Block for the upcoming
meeting will be shown on this page.
The templates in the instructions below are not to scale. Please make
your own templates using the measurements cited.
